Festival La Roue Tourne – 31

Our association will be present at the Festival La roue Tourne on Saturday 11 February 2023 (all day) in Roques sur Garonne. Come and meet us on our stand. Presentation of Gérard Bastide’s film on the exploration of the V84-1.

On Friday 10 February (evening) and Saturday 11 February (all day) the 6th edition of the festival “La Roue Tourne” will take place at the Moulin and the salle des fêtes in Roques, in the Toulouse region. After a two-year enforced break, it is with great pleasure that cyclo-travellers of all ages from all over France will present their latest screenings. All areas are explored : from the simple garden to the discovery of surrounding areas, French regions, or European countries such as Italy or Norway. The tone is funny, poetic or frenetic, depending on its suitability and the mood of the moment.

Pedalling as a therapy, pedalling for freedom, pedalling to meet others, pedalling to reconnect with nature remain the dominant themes. Cycling has become part of national culture, as is also shown by the growing popularity of families in search of a slower pace.

There will also be professional exhibitors of cycling equipment and tourist offices, as well as workshops – including preparing for a cycling trip, solar-powered bicycles and finding your way around with a GPS.
